Events at Pengenna Manor

The Manor doesn't just make a fantastic venue for weddings and wedding receptions, it's also a great place to hold all sorts of different events.

From corporate events to sporting events, from naming ceremonies to anniversaries, we can host them all. The private location of the Manor, set in its own valley and surrounded by acres of lush countryside means you won't be overlooked or interrupted.

The flexible, purpose-designed Marquee Garden makes an excellent space for all types of event marquee, as well as open air-events. Hold a large business conference, have a birthday party or a wedding anniversary, or stage an outdoor performance of your choir or orchestra – the options are endless.

The Drawing Room inside the Manor is licensed for naming ceremonies, as is the feature summer house at the end of its avenue of apple and cherry blossom trees that looks out over our valley, making unique alternatives to a traditional Christening.

With over 300 acres of countryside and woodland and the historic Manor House as the backdrop there's no shortage of options available.

No matter what your requirements, our dedicated on-site events co-ordinator will work with you and your own suppliers, or ones we have recommended, (we have collected together a list of excellent suppliers that we can recommend to you to supply everything from a marquee for 350 people to a white board or PA system), to pull together a great day.

Pengenna Manor is available to hire as your exclusive event venue for 24, 48 and 72 hours, or even longer if you wish. Specifically we can offer you:

Four beautifully restored, character-filled bedrooms are available inside the Manor for your exclusive use during your event.

The Bridal Suite is a lovely, bright, spacious and south facing room that has been decorated in a glamorous Art Deco style with original period furniture and items from the 1920's collected by the family. A luxurious brand-new en-suite shower room with his and hers sinks and huge double shower has been added this year at one end of the Bridal Suite in a matching Art Deco style.

The other three new bedrooms (two good sized double bedrooms and one smaller twin bedroom that can be converted to a double) have shared usage of the spacious family bathroom. Each room is individually decorated in a simpler style in contrast to the Bridal Suite, with period Victorian and Georgian furniture and other antique family pieces blending seamlessly with their original architectural features.

The rooms are available as an optional extra on a per-night basis for up to eight guests with a sumptuous breakfast of fresh fruits, cereals, yogurt, toasts and preserves and various options on cooked breakfast using local meats from our butcher served in the Drawing Room downstairs each morning at a time of your choosing.

You and your guests / event attendees can also camp for FREE for the entire duration of your hire of the Manor in the two and a half acres of river meadows down in the valley below. Just two minutes walk from the Manor down through the trees these secluded meadows also have their own separate vehicle access allowing cars, campervans and caravans to be parked up.

For the rest of your guests / event attendees there is a wide range of fantastic accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets in the area near the Manor.
