Choose from one of four locations for your drinks reception
Where will you want to have your first drink as a married couple and begin the celebrations with your family and friends? No matter if it’s sweeping valley views, the marquee or walled gardens, or even in the manor house setting itself, we have the perfect set of options for you.
Option One:
The Walled Garden
One of the most popular choices for couples is to enjoy drinks after their ceremony in the walled garden to the front of the historic manor house. We are able to welcome up to 150 guests into this area, whilst if you have a smaller number, the walled nature of the area makes it a perfect and intimate choice too.
Option TWO:
Patio terrace
If you’re planning on having a larger wedding then using the Marquee Garden and surrounding areas are a great option as we can hold more than 200 of your nearest and dearest, all of whom will be able to enjoy great views of the countryside valley.
Option Three:
Cowyard Barn
This 200-year-old building has been restored and re-purposed to create a gorgeous permanent undercover space – perfect if there’s inclement weather on your wedding day or you would like to make the rustic charm of this unique space a real feature of your day.
Option Four:
Inside the Manor House
If you’d prefer to have your drinks within the manor house itself then we also have the perfect option for you in the 450-year-old drawing room. Holding up to 30 guests, this is a great option for smaller wedding parties or for when the weather is slightly inclement on your big day.
Option Five:
A combination of all!
Each of our weddings are completely unique, so we’re here to give you the option that works for you and your guests. If you’d like to use a combination of the options above then we’ll be able to talk you through what might work best for your big day.
